Grain Workshop
Are you curious about growing grains? What does it really take to grow grains in your backyard or at your farm? What types of grains are best in your climate? With a focus on ancient and heritage grains, Laughing Wolf Farm will be offering a Grain Gathering. You'll get hands-on instruction and experience with grain harvesting, threshing and cleaning, and learn about the different types of ancient and heritage grains in this dynamic, hands-on workshop. You'll also receive grains to take home and try growing on your own. Workshop cost is $50 and includes a farm fresh grainy lunch. Scholarships are available. Please contact us for more information.
Seed Saving Workshop
Would you like to learn the art and craft of saving seeds? Laughing Wolf Farm will be hosting a seed workshop.You'll get hands-on instruction and experience with seed saving, and learn about seed adaptation which is critical for the sustainability of our food systems and landscapes. You'll also receive some seeds to take home and try growing on your own. Workshop cost is $50 and includes a farm fresh seedy lunch. Scholarships are available.
